Hello Mikhail! If you’re married to a U.S. citizen, you can usually apply for a green card right away! The process can take a few months, but once you’re married, you’re eligible to file for Adjustment of Status. Just make sure to have your marriage certificate and proof of your relationship ready OK?!

Disregard my first answer, Mikhail. I was responding to a different question. Thanks.

After graduation, you can apply for a work visa like the H-1B, but you’ll need a job offer from a U.S. employer who’s willing to sponsor you. It’s a bit of a process, so the sooner you start looking for a job, the better!
