My Temporary Protected Status (TPS) is about to expire, how do I know if it’s been extended, and when should I reapply?

You should regularly check the USCIS website for TPS updates on your country and reapply as soon as a re-registration period is announced to avoid losing your protection.

You can check if your TPS has been extended by looking for a Federal Register notice specific to your country on the USCIS website or by checking your country’s TPS page for updates. You should reapply during the re-registration period announced in the notice.
