My J-1 visa is ending soon, and I’m subject to the two-year home residency rule. Is there any way to stay in the U.S. and work legally without fulfilling it?

You may apply for a waiver of the two-year rule under certain conditions.

Some switch to H-1B or other visas if a waiver is approved.

Only if you can get a waiver
