My I-485 was denied. Can I appeal or refile?

Yes, you can file Form I-290B to appeal or motion to reopen/reconsider, depending on the reason.

In many cases, it's better to refile a new I-485 if your eligibility still exists and the denial wasn't due to fraud.

If you're in removal proceedings now, you may need to argue your case before an immigration judge.
