I’ve noticed that every time the mail arrives I feel anxious, half expecting something from USCIS, so I’m curious if others experience this constant stress around physical mail and how you cope with that feeling during long processing times.

Yes, a lot of people experience that same anxiety around the mail during long waits. When you’ve been dealing with USCIS for a while, every envelope starts to feel like it could carry life‑changing news, so the stress becomes automatic. What helps some people is reminding themselves that most important updates are also reflected online now, and trying to mentally separate regular mail from USCIS mail so it doesn’t hijack your mood every day. It doesn’t fully go away, but over time most people learn to manage that constant edge a little better.
