In April my husband it was a Syrian resident and I am a United States resident had his immigration appointment in Amman Jordan. At that time they requested a joint sponsor and his military book translation. We submitted this in June and we received a message stating that he needs to have his medical exam redone and to present his passport and a current photo to the Embassy in Jordan. He has an appointment to go there this week for a new medical exam and present his passport and photo. What can you tell me about this process. What could this possibly mean in our long 2-year journey.

Maybe his previous medical exam expired. But it seems like the process is going well

Yes, it did, he is scheduled for a new exam prior to the passport submission

Them asking him to submit his passport could meant that the visa is likely to be printed and placed in the passport once requirements are met

I don't think you should be worried, it's just procedure

If he does what they say and meets all that is required, there should be no problem
