I’m really worried. My marriage-based green card interview is coming up. Does anyone know if recent policy changes will make it harder to get approved?

Yes, recent updates in early 2025 have tightened marriage-based green card rules—new I‑130/I‑485 forms, mandatory interviews, stricter evidence, and deeper fraud checks—so approval may actually take more effort.

Yes, there have been some changes in 2025—stricter interviews and more paperwork—but if your marriage is real and you’re prepared, you still have a strong chance of approval.

Yeah, things are a bit stricter this year, but if your marriage is legit and you’re prepared, you should be fine.
