I’m from Lebanon and filed for asylum a year ago. Can I travel outside the U.S. while waiting for my case?

You generally cannot leave without advance parole. Leaving without it can result in your case being considered abandoned.

Advance parole allows temporary travel, but approval is not guaranteed and can take several months.

Many asylum seekers wait in the U.S. to avoid jeopardizing their case; always get legal guidance before planning travel.
