I’m a U.S. green card holder and I just had a baby abroad. How can I bring my child to the U.S.?

File Form I-130 for your child to immigrate.

If the child is under 2 and you’re returning for the first time after birth, special rules apply.

Carry the birth certificate and proof of your status at entry.
