I’m a RSO for life time in the US. 8 years ago I accepted a plea deal. I am currently engaged. My Filipino fiancé is originally from the Philippines and she wants to show me where she grew up and vacation there for 3 weeks. Will I get denied entry or is there anyway to know or get pre approval before I spend tones of money to travel there?

You may face entry denial due to your RSO status. Check with the Philippine Embassy for guidance or pre-clearance before booking travel.

As long as you hold valid LPR status and return within one year, you can re-enter without pre-approval. For certainty—especially given your RSO status—consult an immigration attorney first.

U.S. RSOs often face reentry issues; consult an immigration attorney before making international travel plans.
