Your H-4 status usually ends when the H-1B spouse’s status ends, unless they find a new employer quickly.

You may have a 60-day grace period to change status or leave the U.S.

If losing their job means their status has ended, your status will end too

If your spouse gets a new H-1B employer, your H-4 and EAD can continue.

You will have a grace period of sixty days to find another way to get lawful status. Maybe a work visa sponsor
