I was in the U.S. on an F-1 visa, but I dropped out of school and never changed status. Now I want to apply for an H-1B. What are my chances?

If you accrued unlawful presence, it can affect your eligibility.

You may need to leave the U.S. and apply for H-1B abroad.

A past violation could make USCIS more strict in reviewing your case.

Consulting a lawyer is key, since some may still succeed if an employer sponsors.
