I recently became a U.S. citizen, but my 20-year-old son is still on a student visa. What’s the fastest way to bring him into permanent residency now?

File Form I-130 to sponsor him as an immediate relative. Since he’s under 21, he qualifies for faster processing as your child.

File Form I-130 for him now. As your unmarried child under 21, he’s eligible for immediate relative status, which allows quicker green card processing.
