I overstayed my visa by several months but I never worked illegally and I have no criminal record. I’m now married to a US citizen. Can I still get a green card?

Yes. Immediate relatives of US citizens can adjust status even after an overstay, as long as they entered legally and the marriage is genuine.

Many people in your situation get approved. Evidence of a real marriage like joint finances, leases, or photos is the most important thing USCIS looks at.

Do not leave the US before your adjustment of status application is filed or approved unless you have advance parole. Leaving could trigger a re-entry bar because of the overstay.
