I overstayed my visa, but my kids were born here so they are citizens. Can I get legal status through them?

Any citizen that wants to sponsor their parent for green card has to be at least twenty-one years old to do so

You can't for now. You may have to leave the country first and wait until your kid can sponsor you. However, you may face issues re-entering because you overstayed your visa. I think it is best to talk to an immigration lawyer here for the best advice.
