I have a pending asylum case, but I also got married to a U.S. citizen. Should I continue with asylum or switch to adjustment of status through marriage?

Marriage-based adjustment is usually faster if the relationship is genuine.

You can pursue both at the same time, but marriage approval may resolve your status sooner.

If asylum is strong, some prefer to keep it as backup.

An immigration lawyer can guide you on which is more secure in your case.
