I came to America with tourist visa but I have applied for extension. I want to do a small business to gather some money before I leave. I'm not taking employment because I know it is not allowed. But can I do my own small business?

No, tourist visa does not allow you to run a business

Even if it’s your own business and only for a short time, a tourist visa does not permit you to work

Don't do it. It is unauthorized employment
