Hi my wife wanted to visit me in Canada. We haven't started her sponsorship application as we just got married and I still have to save up money for it. She coming with me to Canada from Japan and she intends to stay for 1 week just to spend a holiday with my family. Will that be possible or will the immigration officer make a fuss about it? Currently, she works as a teacher as for her background and she's a japanese citizen

This is a rather complex question but I can definitely say that it shouldn't be a problem. It just need an experienced attorney to attend to it and everything should be resolved
