Hello everyone, I have my immigrant visa interview scheduled for next week Monday (July 21), but I just realized that the Form I-864 (Affidavit of Support) that was submitted with my case has expired. Please, do I need to bring a new, updated I-864 form to the interview? Any advice or guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

No, you generally do not need to bring a new, updated Form I-864 to your immigrant visa interview, even if the one you submitted has expired

The I-864 is generally valid indefinitely unless there are issues with the sponsor's ability to meet the required income at the time of filing.

The consular officer will evaluate the sponsor's income and financial documentation provided with the original I-864 to determine if it meets the poverty guidelines in effect when the form was submitted.
