During my time studying in Morocco, I never imagined I would eventually move to Utah to continue my journey, especially since my roots are in Ghana. Now that I am trying to understand my immigration options in the United States, I keep hearing different things about what my background and travel history might mean for future applications. What should someone with a mixed education and residency history like mine be mindful of when planning the next immigration step?

Your full travel and education history helps determine which immigration paths you qualify for.

Different visa categories look at your background in different ways, so the right option depends on your goals. Employment, family, or humanitarian routes all have distinct requirements. An attorney can help you match your history to the most realistic path.
