Do I have to submit medical exams again if I already did it a year ago for a visa?

If you completed a medical exam within the last 5 years and file Form I-485 within one year of the overseas medical examination, you might not need to repeat it, but vaccinations may need updating.

For Canadian immigration, medical exam results are valid for 12 months, so if your exam was over a year ago, you'll likely need to retake it.

If you're applying for a different type of visa or residence, check with the relevant authorities, as requirements may vary, such as needing to include your previous medical exam results or IME number
