Can I still stay in the U.S. if my asylum case was denied, I really can't go back home now.

I'm so sorry about your situation.

You may still have some other options.

You can appeal the decision, seek other forms of protection like withholding of removal or protection under the Convention Against Torture.

I think you should speak to an immigration attorney right away, there may still be ways to stay, like an appeal or a motion to reopen.

If your asylum case was denied, you may still have options like appeal, reopening the case, or applying for other relief—consult an immigration attorney immediately.

Attorney
Speak to an immigration attorney as soon as possible. If your asylum was denied at a USCIS interview, the agency will issue a Notice to Appear referring your case to an immigration judge where you will have a trial. If your case was denied by an immigration judge, you have 30 days to file an appeal - if you don’t file on time the order of removal becomes a final order and you will be required to depart. If you don’t depart timely, you can be subject to monetary fines and imprisonment. In limited cases, there may be a basis to reopen your asylum case BUT don’t do that on your own as the law has limits on only requesting this one time - use an attorney with asylum experience so you increase chances of getting a positive outcome in your case. Best of luck!
