Can I stay in the U.S. if my visa expires but my I-94 is still valid?

Yes, the I-94 determines how long you’re allowed to stay — not the visa stamp in your passport.

As long as your I-94 is unexpired and you're following the rules of your visa category, you're legally in the U.S.

You only need a valid visa to enter the U.S., but your stay is governed by your I-94 document.
