Can I be denied a family-based green card due to a past public benefits usage?

The Public Charge Rule was rolled back in 2021; most benefit usage no longer affects green card eligibility.

Receipt of Medicaid, SNAP, or housing support is generally not considered anymore.

However, you must still prove the sponsor meets income requirements (Form I-864).
