As an international student studying in the United States on an F-1 visa, I want my parents to visit me for a short time. What options do they have to apply for a visitor visa, and does my student status affect their chances?

I don't see anything stopping them from applying for visitor visas

If they can prove they have strong reasons to return to their country after visiting, they are likely to get approved.

Your parents can apply for a B-2 visitor visa at the U.S. embassy or consulate in their home country. Your F-1 status does not prevent them from applying.

They must show strong ties to their home country, such as jobs, property, or family responsibilities. The visa officer focuses on whether they intend to return after the visit. Your school enrollment can support the purpose of travel, but it is not a guarantee.
