1. My Current Status and Filings: - I entered the U.S. on an F1 visa. Then I filed the following forms in May 16, 2023: - I-485: Receipt Current Status: "Case Remains Pending – We are temporarily pausing work on your application because an immigrant visa number is not immediately available to you. Once an immigrant visa number becomes immediately available to you, we will resume processing of your application." - I-140: Approved - I-131: Approved - I-765: Card Was Delivered 2. Marriage and Spouse’s Situation: - I got married after filing the above applications (I filed as a single) , and my spouse (pregnant wife) is currently outside the U.S. 3. Questions: · What forms do I need to file to sponsor my spouse? · If I file Form I-824 for my approved I-140, will it make a difference in my spouse’s case since I filed the I-140 when I was single? · Are there any specific considerations or timelines I should be aware of given my current status and the fact that my spouse is outside the U.S.?

To sponsor your spouse, file Form I-130. Filing Form I-824 may help transfer your approved I-140 to a consulate for her. Timelines depend on visa availability. i'd say monitor the visa bulletin for updates.
