What are the tax implications for H1B visa holders working in the U.S., and are there any tax benefits available?

H1B visa holders usually have to pay same taxes like residents, including federal, state, and local income taxes, plus Social Security and Medicare. But they can get some deductions, exemptions, and credits like US citizens. They can also use tax treaties to not pay tax twice in US and their country.

H1B visa holders do pay equal taxes as usa residents and a benefit is that they can get tax deductions and credits like usa citizens.
