What happens if I miss a scheduled immigration interview? Can I request a reschedule, or will it affect my case badly?

if you miss your immigration interview, you can usually request a reschedule, but it’s important to act quickly. USCIS might allow you to explain the reason for missing it, but delays could affect your case, so don’t wait too long.

i've heard of people missing their interviews and still being able to reschedule without major issues. You just need to contact USCIS as soon as possible and provide a valid reason. It might delay your case, but it’s not the end of the world

If you miss your interview, don’t panic. You can usually request a reschedule, but it’s important to act fast and explain your situation clearly. Just be aware that it might delay your case, so try to avoid missing it in the first place

I’ve seen cases where people missed their interviews and were able to reschedule, but it’s not automatic. You need to contact USCIS quickly and provide documentation to support your request. It might take time to get a new date

Honestly, it depends on the situation. If you miss your interview without a valid reason, it could negatively impact your case. But if you have a legitimate excuse, like illness or an emergency, USCIS might let you reschedule
