if someone gets lucky and wins that Diversity Visa thing but doesn’t know English, can they still move to the U.S.?

Nope, you don’t have to know English to win or use the Diversity Visa. But let’s be real, it’s gonna be tough to live in the U.S. without at least some basic English skills.

I’ve seen people win the Diversity Visa and move to the U.S. without knowing English. It’s totally possible, but they usually end up learning it pretty quickly to adapt to life there.

From what I know, English isn’t a requirement for the Diversity Visa. You can still move to the U.S., but you’ll probably need to pick up the language to get by once you’re there.
