This page provides you with the most recent processing times for petitions and applications submitted to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS). The USCIS has service centers located in California, Nebraska, Vermont and Texas. All applications and petitions are processed in the order in which they are received. Due to extremely high work loads at the Service Centers it may take longer to initiate processing of some immigration benefit applications and petitions than others. The four USCIS Service Centers are linked to the most recent processing times and also to the National Benefits Center in Missouri.
